Welcome to Cellarbot. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cellarbot mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
Cellarbot is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you will use the App responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws.
2. What Cellarbot Does
Cellarbot helps you catalog and manage personal collections of wine, whiskey, spirits, and beer across one or more cellars — including scanning labels and barcodes, recording tasting notes and values, viewing cellar analytics, and generating lists. The App is provided as an organizational tool and does not sell, broker, or deliver alcohol.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of the cellar data you create in the App, including bottle records, photos, and tasting notes. This data is stored in your own iCloud account as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, including any estimated values you record.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App or its services;
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data;
- Misuse scanning or lookup features to disrupt the service.
5. Subscriptions & Purchases
Cellarbot Free is available at no cost. Cellarbot Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, and Premium for Life is a one-time purchase. Prices are shown in the App and on this website and may change over time.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
- Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's policies.
6. Bottle Information
Product details returned by scanning and lookup features are provided for convenience and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Estimated values are informational only and are not appraisals. You are responsible for verifying any information used for insurance, resale, or other purposes.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, branding, and the Cellarbot name and logo, is owned by Cellarbot and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or content except the limited right to use the App as intended.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that bottle information will be accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cellarbot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how the App handles your information.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
